I teach classes on everything from pies to scones, sweet tarts to savory pastries, cookies to ice cream at Little Fox Kitchen Cooking School in downtown Cranford. 

All classes are active, hands-on experiences open to bakers of all skill levels! Whether you’re looking to expand your pastry skills or you’re brand new to baking, you’re in for a treat! Guests will bake and take home what they make in class, and have plenty of goodies to sample as we work.

FALL HARVEST BAKING

Sunday November 3rd, 1:30 - 5pm

If you look forward to sweater weather, strolling through farmers markets & the bounty of fall produce, this class is for you!

In this class you’re prepare both savory and sweet dishes featuring some of the best flavors Autumn has to offer— Sausage & Root Vegetable Pot Pies, a delightfully simple and delicious Apple Cake finished with Caramel Sauce, and one of my most popular treats at the market - Pumpkin Bread with nutty Chocolate & Spice Streusel! And after all that baking, you’ll sample your creations (don’t worry - there will be lots to take home!), and have a hot cup of freshly Mulled Apple Cider. You don’t want to miss it!

ITALIAN HOLIDAY COOKIES

Sunday December 8th, 1:30-5pm

Join me and my mom, Rosanna, for this festive Italian cookie class, just in time for the holidays! You’ll learn to make fruit and nut-filled Cuccidati, a traditional southern Italian specialty. Bake crunchy Biscotti with toasted almonds, dark chocolate, and lemon zest, perfect for dunking. Finally, learn the secrets of vibrant Rainbow Cookies, with layers of almond cake, apricot and raspberry jams, topped with rich chocolate. Fun, flavorful, and perfect for the season!

FALL PIES

Sunday November 17th, 1:30-5pm - SOLD OUT

In this class, you’ll learn how to make, roll, shape and crimp a pie shell, and the secrets to making my Deluxe Apple Pie that’s packed with flavor, texture and fruit! You’ll make a buttery brown sugar crumble to top your pies, and then we’ll move on to Bourbon Pecan Pie. You’ll learn all the tricks to making this surprising easy yet decadent dessert full of warm fall flavor and crunchy toasted pecans in a not-too-sweet bourbon-y brown sugar custard. This class is a “bake & take” - every student will leave with 1 mini apple pie, 1 mini pecan pie, PLUS a full size 9” pie shell to take home and freezer for later baking.
